Suzanne DeCopain began her legal journey in 2009 as a prosecutor with the State Attorney’s Office. She prosecuted a wide range of cases from DUI, Robbery, and Drug Offenses and tried over 20 jury trials.

Thereafter, Suzanne DeCopain relocated to her current home, Tampa Bay, where she joined an established firm representing housing authorities throughout the state. She provided advice and training to various public housing authorities and other affordable housing providers in such areas as landlord/tenant matters and all associated aspects of the state, federal, and HUD related laws, regulations, policies, and compliance; Fair Housing and ADA/504 compliance; Florida Government-in-the-Sunshine law; and public records law.

Suzanne DeCopain later took a job at one of Tampa Bay’s preeminent insurance defense firms. She provided coverage analysis to several insurance companies, handled countless depositions, and argued motions throughout the state.

Suzanne DeCopain joined a nationwide firm continuing to represent insurance carriers and expanded her representation to handling employment matters including wage claims and discrimination claims on behalf of companies.
